Apologies if you've already seen it...

from NorthEast soccer:

Robson has spoken of his sadness over Didier Domi's walk-out on United, but discounted an approach to FIFA to impose a worldwide ban on the French left-back.

Domi is hoping to force United to sell him back to Paris St. Germain, the club he quit in a £3.5m deal two years ago.

Furious United chairman Freddy Shepherd immediately stopped Domi's £12,500-a-week wages and the French Under-21 international will end up at least £50,000 out of pocket when he is also fined the maximum two weeks' salary.

Robson tried to make light of the matter, saying: "We keep trying to call him but there's no answer.

"We've tried the CIA, but they're not interested - he's still with Shergar and Lord Lucan! "Seriously, though, I find it very sad and distressing that he should walk out on the club when he had no reason to do so.

"He's a good player with a beautiful left foot. We need him and we want him to come back.'' Robson is already short on numbers because of a catalogue of injuries.

Bobby's approach is undoubtedly the correct one. Taking more punitive action might make FS feel better, but will do nothing to resolve a deeply regrettable and unfortunate situation.
DD is clearly a temperamental asset - a loner - but one that we need to get some return on.

Bobby will play good cop until he has Domi in his office then Bad cop will appear and I expect Domi will leave that room shaking which is less than he would have to endure if I was in the room. Bobby will hurt him mentally, I'd kick him to each corner of the room.

By the way, Chelsea have reportedly tabled a £4 mill bid for Leed's Ian Harte. I'm sure he'd rather join us than them, so why not speculate with the inevitable sale of Domi and sign Harte? He's only 23 and has shown enough promise to suggest that he could be the best left back in the Premiership on his day.
