The crowd were magnificent too - it gave us gooseflesh listening to them.

hahahahahahaha...that HAS to be a joke.....as Rik said elsewhere...."the last ten minutes were excellent"....OF COURSE they were...it was the ONLY time "yer famous atmosphere" raised it's ugly head.

Still..top day out....and a splendid view from Spittal (sp) Heights :-)

Ear-muffs as well a rose-tinted specs eh LR?
The atmosphere was OK, not great, but your lot still did quite well to make themselves heard - now and then.

Smiler......we know now why NUFC put the opposition up there...so as to give your fans a fighting chance when United are in town

"Hail Hail the Mancs are here...what the hell do we care"...

Lanky - you only heard things from one place. As you know, I sit below the away support (in the so-called "spit-Toon") and the impression I get from there for most matches is that the away support is loud and clear. However, on occasions I have also sat in the Gallowgate End and from there it sounds just like a wimper, drowned oot by wor own in the Gallowgate corner. Mind - aah still think the should put the away support in Leazes Park, along with all the other undesirables who frequent that place.
