I have been burning VCDs for about 3 years. Only recently, I discovered that some of the VCDs that I burned barely a year ago are not readable anymore. These CDs were actually sitting safely in the jewel case all the time. It even happened to the one burned on "branded" KODAK GOLD CD-R, which claims lifetime storage.

Anyone facing the same problem? Please advise.

I heard that cd-r's last for 100 years if they are in good condition.
