I like to see a Battlebots episode of Junkyard Wars. I wonder if TLC or Comedy Central will air it. About the centrifugal fire pump you built.I recommend you visit Gorman-Rupp at http://www.gormanrupp.com

Can you imagine a spinner robot like Mauler powered by a car engine? It would be awesome! Sheesh such a thing could cut your body in half in a blink.

Battlebots doesn't permit car engines in the arena. However they do permit small DC-possibly AC electric motors in the arena. They also permit twin&single cylinder small air cooled engines.

No, we were talking about making battling robots in an episode of Junkyard Wars. They could make a couple of robots out of cars, put weapons and radio control on them, stand back and watch the metal fly!

At least Russel knows that a "cap lock" isn't something that keeps your hat from being stolen. (He might be a little vague on when to hit that "submit" button, though.)

I'm going to try to be nice to the bean dips that suggest robots for JYW, and enternally grateful that I don't live near either Dan or Joel. You may want to keep the blinds drawn for a couple of days, folks!
