My grandad was a conductor on Central Georgia. I have his boarding pass from 1925 and 1959. He was based in Macon. I also have a chair that he got off the train. It is stuffed with horse hair. The bottom of this chair can be lifted up and it almost looks like a wing chair. My dad who is 78 says he remembers helping my Grandad get the chair off what he called an observation car. My Dad says he was about 10 years old at that time. I would just like to know any history of these chairs. My sister also has one. Thanks!!! Claudia
