I know it's only teamtwaddle, but where do they get a story linking Gregory to take over from BR in the future. The story reckons we'll bring the doom merchant in if Villa show him the door.

yep. let's hope thay have been sniffing. If they were looking, what's the current status of Dick Advocaat? I know he's not doing too well of late, but perhaps he wouldn't be a bad move. Before anybody cuts me down in flames, i'm only asking....!

I think Gregory is trying to say "Hey, here I am, I'm available " to any decent club, whilst he is doing quite well. As he knows he'll be shown the door as soon as his fortunes turn.

We won't go for him, our fans don't like him and our board are fans, so end of story. I reckon he'll end up at Rangers.

Gregory has been summoned before Ellis to explain derogatory remarks that JG made about Ellis in a tabloid. His beef is no cash from the board so I doubt he would want YBR's job at the moment, although that situation will hopefully have changed by the time YBR calls it a day.

Talking of successors, it occurs to me that the French seem to be well able to coach successful teams (Wenger, Houllier, Tigana spring readily to mind) and I wonder if we should cast an eye in that direction. Just a thought.
