DEV TEC processor for film processing?

Hi, Does anybody try to use DEV TEC processor to do film processing? It seems that it does the same thing as jobo processors, rotating the tank and you can control the temp. by adding a temp controller. Thanks.

I have one (it came with some other stuff I bought). I haven't tried it (I have a Jobo).

What I see is that the drums are not designed for film processing. The Jobo drums use a center core like typical film processing drums. The DevTec drums are just tubes.

Also I don't know how they will turn with a lot of chemical in them as they just rest on the edge of the pan, no bearings at all. With print work, they sort of float on the water bath, but with film, I don't think they will do so.

I would look for a used Jobo CPE-2.
