I have a puppy of mixed lineage who weighs 23 lb at 9-10 weeks. Does anyone have any prediction as to his ultimate size?

Our farm collie pup is 25 pounds at 13 weeks, and the original estimate for his adult weight was 65 pounds. I won't be too surprised if he gets a little bigger than that, though. I think your pup is going to be a lot bigger than that!! Do you have any idea what his ancestry is?

I always look at their feet. At your pup's age his feet should be a good indication of just how big he is going to get. For some reason it seems to me that the feet grow to adult size way before the rest of the dog and they spend a lot of time just growing into their feet.

Skye (pretty name): Diane is right. If the pup looks like it could fit in your shoes, load up on dog food early!!....Kirk
