A very Xmas to you all.
Bright sunny day in the Golden city - bit nippy mind.
The bearded one called here too on his rounds - brought me a Toon oven glove! Will come in handy - 'handy' get it?
Oh well a turkey to carve so talk to yous all later.

Enjoy!

Merry Christmas all.

Turkey in, vejes prepared, pudd on the boil, and all of Tara's questions about how Santa Claus does it have been successfully answered for another year (she's 7) probably the last time she'll swallow the whole thing hook, line and sinker (sob). The real clincher is that the mince pie left out for him gets eaten - and he leaves some crumbs behind!, the wine is drunk and Rudolph's carrot has been eaten - proof positive really. :-)

Kids today eh? Too wise by half - I was 17 before I found out. :-)

Let's hope wor Bob rekindles my belief in magic over the holiday - lots of love to you all.

Happy Christmas to all!! Just finished packing, put my Toon top in my carry-on in case my suitcase goes walkabout(or is that flyabout?). Heading for the airport in an hour. Bright and sunny in Baltimore, temps in the 20'sF. Hope BA serves mince pies for dessert tonight. I'm really craving one with all the talk on here. See everyone in the Strawberry tomorrow. I'll be the bleary-eyed one sleeping in the corner. ;-)

The best of Christmas wishes to everyone on this bbs. I haven't been posting much lately but am keeping my eye on your messages regularly. We've been living under a frigid arctic high pressure condition for about 5 weeks now. I think it was minus 34 celsius last night but it climbs all the way up to minus 24 or 25 during the day. MInd you, we ALWAYS have a white christmas. My wife, Irene, is cooking both a duck and a turkey at the moment. We have our son with us for the first Christmas in 12 years . He is partial to Duck, hence the two birds this year. Also have my mother-in-law here celebrating her 90th birthday today. I can smell the turkey now. phoenix

I regret that unfortunate juxtaposition near the end of my previous posting, it really was unintentional. :-)

Great to hear from you again Phoenix - can't remember the last time you posted but if it was under the new name I perhaps missed the Phoenix connection.

Any plans to come to Toon anytime? I seem to remember you are owed pints by the regular Strawberry team and it would be great to see you.

Happy Christmas.
