Shearer injured again?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

As well as GIVEN, LEE,(hamstring) and BASSSEDAS (broken nose). Harper has a sore knee, Solano a calf strain and wait for it SHEARER has tendonitis again. if it's true then we are in deep shit for the next few months.

You've obviously overlooked the fact that it's been proven on here statistically we win more points without Shearer than with him, Rik!

No suprises here then is there.

In my job it would be called bad planning and the management (YBR excluded from this) would be sacked.

But I guess they cant sack themselves.

Too late to sign anyone for the most hectic part of the year when we were relying on an unfit striker.

Pathetic is too kind.

Merry CHRISTAMS? You've started early on the pop Ken haven't yer? ; ))

If it's any consolation, it's blowing a gale here and the forecast for tomorrow is rain and wind.

Ah well, that makes me feel better then.......I wish I had started on the pop already, another seven hours in the office and then I'm off till the 3rd January.....pleanty time to get ratted!

-- Anonymous, December 24, 2000

Hey min, you should think yourself lucky, the first one I 'almost' posted wished you a Preposterous New Year until I changed it!

-- Anonymous, December 24, 2000

it's still 13º + mind...

well, listen, when you eventually get round to cracking those bottles open [i know what you BBC-types are like], have a good one and enjoy the break. Fingers crossed [cos that's what it'll be] for some points in the next couple of games...you going?

Shearer injured again? Well now there's a big surprise.
Congratulations NUFC plc - now what?

-- Anonymous, December 24, 2000

Unconfirmed reports , I should add. Any one have the latest?

-- Anonymous, December 24, 2000

I reckon it will stay as 'unconfirmed' until Tuesday when they come out to warm up for the Leeds match.....same as at Villa,

Official clouded smokescreen until it is patently obvious as he is not on the pitch, then, and only then, do you actually say that he is injured and not playing.....until that point it was all will he play won't he play

We are only the people who put the money into the club for christs sake, what right have we to be told the TRUTH

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!! I just knew this would happen! Shearer should not have played yesterday! :-/

And Bassedas broken nose. The poor guy is having the worst luck.

Time for Coppinger and/or Ameobi to step up and show what they can do, I think. Or the tea lady. Backroom XII anyone?

Rik - save the porky pies for Boxing Day.
