Some years ago I subscribed to the Zone VI newsletter. I've heard that Fred Picker has since closed up shop. Does the newsletter continue? Is Fred still doing his thing? Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Calumet, who took over what is left of Zone VI publishes a newsletter that was intended to replace the original Zone VI newsletter. My subscription to the Zone VI newsletter had a year or so left on it when Calumet took over and the subscription was transferred. I received the Calumet verseion for a while, but let my subscription run out. IMHO it's not worth subscribing to. Regards, ;^D)

I pretty much agree with the post above on the worth of the newsletter. You can find Fred's books and video's on eBay all of the time. Calumet is the distributer for all of the Zone VI products.

The question of Fred's where abouts came up recently on the large format board. It was reported there that he has retired and is no longer involved in photography at all, spending his time fishing, etc. I looked for the thread to post a link, but couldn't find it.
