(12-20) 20:52 PST DENVER (AP) -- A United flight to Sacramento returned to Denver International Airport Wednesday night and landed safely after the nose landing-gear door failed to retract, a spokesman said.

No one was injured. The 141 passengers were transferred to another plane, spokesman Chris Brathwaite said.

``Basically, it's not a life-threatening problem,'' he said. ``We just brought it back because we don't take any chances with safety.'' http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2000/12/20/state2352EST0262.DTL
