This is the best day I’ve had since that horrible day a few weeks ago. I’m almost happy. The Makems are NOT a good team. If any one of them tells you they are tell them in your foulest language to “go forth”.
I bet big Al is singing & dancing on the way to work this morning. To be serious I think this is a fantastic result for our team sprit; we’ve been at sixes and sevens for weeks and now, well I’m happy anyway.
Derby at the weekend – howay the lads.

Yep. Couldn't help breaking into a little smile last night. Count how many games those dirty scum-bags have fluked a 1-0 this Season. Bastards. They've had their 15 minutes of fame and are about to learn that you can only get so far by swinging long diagonal balls into the box. Bastards. I hate them. Still, that said I suppose the best way to piss them off is by finishing higher in the league and, of course, thrashing the inbreds at SOS. So Howay the Toon.

The really sweet thing about the game was that they weren't just beaten - they were outplayed. Mr. Heed has admitted as much this morning.

Vaga in defence was bloody hopeless - actually reminded me of Ramon Vega, only worse - played miles behind the other three and continually played them onside. The pace of Morrison and Frosell was causing them all sorts of problems, and I can only assume that Vaga's positioning was planned to counter this.

Going forward they invariably resorted to their one and only strategy - the diagonal hump forward - which didn't work without Quinny.

At one point - after Palace had hit the bar twice in two minutes - I fully expected them get a snappy second goal and sneak it. The luck has been with them for weeks and weeks now, but it finally looks as though it's beginning to desert them.
