Anywho to everyone happy holidays, thanks for the last twelve months for the laughs and the topical thouroughly enjoyable banter.

Duncan special thanks to you mate for bringing/keeping everyone together, this place is priceless.

Be safe, be festive, lets hope for a solid and prosperous new year.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all. On Thursday we have the 'office do' so I've cleverly taken Friday off as holiday and won't return till the 2nd of January.

I had to book it off as holiday so don't believe all the crap about the Construction Christmas Shutdown!

Have a fantabidocious holiday season folks.

Many, many thanks for your company over the past (trophyless) 12 months, and for putting up with my ramblings and pet peeves - you truly are the dog's!

Thanks again Dunx for rescuing this special place - may it go from strength to strength.

I hope some of you will hang out with me on here during the holidays - I'm afraid I need my daily fix, even at Xmas.

Oh well, I s'pose I'd better break the habit of a life time.

Happy Christmas Everybody.

Great to have known many of you for years, some for only a short time, and many more simply electronically. You're all a source of great friendship, and I can honestly say there's none of you that I have met that have disappointed me - even LR's a decent chap when there's a Y in the month. No, I'll take that back. There's a Y in May!

Merry Christmas - see as many of you as possible in The Straabeery over Christmas.

Without a doubt. this has got to have been the worst year of our lives for me and mine but we're still here somehow and still battling on all fronts. But the year that gave us Softie Junior also has to be a great one to be sure. Just over for the holidays with the kids, Fifties Fan arrives tomorrow night via Glasgow and we're going to enjoy a very low-key, relaxing Christmas. We're hoping to make it to the Strawberry on Boxing Day !!

Appreciation again to Dunx for all of us still being together and to all the BBS gang, for sharing such laughs and passion with each and every Black and White one of us all over the world.

Have a warm and happy Christmas and a GREAT Millenium.

HOWAY THE LADS....and GOOD HEALTH, GOOD JUDGEMENT, POWER and A RUB OF THE GREEN TO WOR BOBBY- WE'LL SHOW THEM AAL YET.

All the best to you all. Hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year.

I, on the other hand, will be working days Christmas day and Boxing day, and nights on New Years eve.

-- Anonymous, December 20, 2000

Well, the team picks are in til the Spurs game, the desk is clear, all the marking has been done so it's wishing you all a great Christmas and a 2001 you all want for yourselves.

-- Anonymous, December 21, 2000

Best to all; take it easy. For those of us travelling from the south, I'll see you on the M1 somewhere no doubt! Once again, my heathen in-laws have contrived to make it so that I'll be at least 200 miles from SJP when there's a game on. For some reason they want to spend time with their only grandchild.

Thanks for the kind words from everyone; it's a pleasure to be able to keep this thing of ours together. I can't count the number of times I've come out of shitty meetings or whatever, only to read one of Rik's insane ramblings, or Gav's excursions with Heidi and be cheered up for the rest of the day.

At least 6 points please Santa.

And a very Merry Crimble to you all. Thanks added to saviour Dunx. Congrats once again to Softie and the missis. Also to all you who had birthdays during 2000. Commiserations to anyone who has to work over the festive period - just ensure they don't actually make you earn that triple time eh folks ?!

Looking forward to catching up with the ever-growing Toon Army chapter in Sydney over the break. And of course welcoming Sting out here (sometime?) in the New Year. We had a dozen or so pass through the Australian pub for our Xmas bevvies last week. Mind, I can't remember how many actually passed out ...

Have a top time everyone and looking forward to our New Year's resolutions coming true in 2001.

LT

Well as this is probably the last time I log on for a week or so I thought I should wish you all best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

By the way, if we sign anyone, then please email me as I'm probably not going to be online except to check emails andI'd hate to think that I would miss out on anything!

Merry Christmas from Colombo, Sri Lanka to all you BBSers.

I’m off to the Maldives tonight, for the long weekend. I’m guaranteed a ‘White Christmas’ there – the sand is white!

I was hoping to spend New Year in Perth but no invite from one gus! I’ll have to settle for S.W. Sri Lanka (= ‘paradise’) instead.

Oh and thanks for (not) missing me!

My nomination for quote (or should that be faux pas) of the year, “Also to all you who had birthdays during 2000” Thanks LT! ;7)

The first hour of the school Holidays is upon me and the kids are already fighting and moaning that they are bored. I wouldn't mind but I got them a new PC each so that I might get a peacefull Xmas, now they want new games, is there no end to the greed of kids nowadays?

When I were a lad I'd be happy with an Apple and an orange and a couple of matchbox cars in a stocking.

Next year I think I'll bugga off to Kawasaki, Hong Kong , Sydney or the Maldives ...Lucky Bastards.

...when I were a lad Rik, I'd have to be content with a couple of boxes of matches!

-- Anonymous, December 22, 2000

When ah were nowt burra lad we were so poor we had to share Xmas with next door. One year we'd watch them eat their Xmas leg of mince and the next they'd watch us. But did we come to any harm ? Course we bliddy did. I wasn't born this effin miserable. ;-))

Oh, and in case I forget, I hope everybody - those I've met and those who've had the good fortune to avoid that pleasure - has a brilliant Christmas and all the good luck going for '01. See youse next year, hopefully.

Christmas wishes to you all. It must be the weather that makes you lot miserable all the time!

Remember you can pick up a paper and read about the Toon, you can pick up a phone and talk to someone about the Toon, you can walk to a local and have a few drinks with each other. You can listen to the radio about the Toon. You can walk aroond the Toon. Some of you even run into the players.

Go to watch training, the reserves, home games and away games.

Oh now I know why you are so miserable!

Hope you all spend some happy times with families and loved ones.

Cheeky blighter that Bus Wider, since when did he need an invite anywhere?
