So Manure is worse than crap?

Cor Jonno....don't say things like that when the all powerfull, he who must be obeyed, Lord and Master the King of Lancashire is around......he'll not like it.....he might even choke on his prawn sandwich.... nah...hang on.....forget that last bit - we couldn't be that lucky

I was half watchig and listening and afterwards I'm sure I heard Taggart saying that the young kid, (forget his name) shouldn't have been sent off?

this was wchoed by Bruce and Dalglish in the studio.

Hang on a minute, the replays show Scmicer getting away from the lad who was puuling his arm off. If the lad hadn't pulled Smicers arm he would have been one on one with the keeper. You can't do that, it's cheeting, but all these guys saying it's OK made bme almost want to throw up.

Howay Rik, you know the rules don't normally apply to them especially at home. I presume the ref will get the sack for calling it honestly ;-)

-- Anonymous, December 17, 2000

Well now, there's a surprise!.
I wonder if Taggart has ever felt a SO or even a booking of one of his players was justified? Apparently, he even reckoned Dwight Yorke's diabolical two-footed, knee-high tackle on hackem Thome - however much out-of-character - didn't deserve a SO.
His views are invariably so utterly baised that they're really not worth listening to. Tosser!

Talking about res at OT--how come he gave 4 minutes of injury time-I don't recall any particular stoppages? fifties fan BTW--"I loved it" just "loved it"--mind it was ashame they got so close to beating their own record, wasn't it?

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

What annoyed me was Taggart saying that even if it was a foul (it was) that Keane had got back so the young'un wasn't the last man. Well actually Keane was still behind the play and the only reason he was within 10 yards was because Smicer was being held back for 30 yds!

Taggart = Tosser

Feck me..all this discussion over The Champions!!

We beat ourselves........

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Oi..Kia Ora...DON'T feckin' start....you gotta EARN yer right to start on Manchester United and her Red Army.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

It was a crap game: Inter v Brescia, a 0-0 draw, was more entertaining. However, as soon as I saw David Beckham in gloves, I knew they'd lose.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Douggie....EXACTLY...exfuckin'actly. Just WHAT was the twat doing in gloves...bastard!!!!

Best passer in the world MY ARSE...and Roy Keane can go take his head for a shit.

FACT.......LR has zero respect for United's "captain"...he is not fit to lace the boots of Bryan Robson.

Anyway.....the result means nowt..Liverpool ARE NOT famous anymore and it will be ANOTHER 10 years before those clowns win anything of note. Did U see their celebrations?...says it all really.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

It's funny but you can half understand a South American needing gloves but Beckham? I mean, even Bassedas lost his at half time in our game and it was about minus 40. Dunno why the gloves thing make a player look unconvincing... The most nauseating spectacle in football (other than the Makems) is loads of Scousers singing "You'll never walk alone". It's good for the PL to have you lot drop points but I bet you'd prefer it against anyone than against the Scousers?

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

LR, I didn't see them, but I gather that Keane has been making furger comments. He ought relly to keep his trap shut: admittedly this is only on Sky, but I've seen him playing like crap all season.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

That struck me as well LR - it was clearly their Cup Final.
Much the same as the gloating mackem b@st@rds reaction to winning at SJP recently - something they and their knuckle-dragging fans will feast on for years.

Becks looks a bigger prat everytime I see him - definitely 'effected' by the showbiz limelight. Don't you just love it when he trys to play the hard man? Anonymous yesterday.

What the hell has happened to Keane - he's become a real pussycat?

I might live to regret saying this (ie. next week!), but hairline cracks are just beginning to appear in the great Red Machine - even though in fairness defeat yesterday was principally down to the absence of AC/TS/DW, and even then a little undeserved.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Smiler.....yesterday we were totally exposed....we had NO target man in AC / DY or TS...and it showed. We were cluless...gutless and the Scouse bastards took their chance....their only chance...but one more chance than we made unfortunately.

It's about time Roy shut his feckin' mouth. I wouldn't mind if he'd played like a God all season but yer right...more like a freakin' pussy cat. He now has the audacity to point his finger at MOST of the OT crowd yet we can not point the finger at HIM. We did not ask for an all seater stadium...we did not as for an executive area SLAP BANG IN THE MIDDLE of The Stretford End...we did not ask for Special Projects Security to hang over us like a VERY dark cloud etc etc etc. I'm fuckin' annoyed.

PS..no cracks just yet mate I'm afraid....when The Cole Man and the Yapster is back we'll be sweet :-)

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Gary Neville giving away that free kick to the Scousers probably felt like Alan Shearer missing the pen....of all the bleeding people.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

It was feckin' volleyball. It's been a LONG time since I felt like this...I can remember it mind, but it's been a long time. I wasn't THAT sympathetic to you all a few weeks ago...didn't take the piss but I wasn't that sympathetic........soz :-(

The good side is that I used to go and watch that crap week in week out......Oh the good times! :-)

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

LR, what hurts the most about these things is that in both our cases (ie, us v makems, you v Scousers), the other side just wanted it more. The home side in a derby should want it more than they want air to breathe. It hurts when this isn't the case.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

What are you both talking about?!?! it wasn't a fucking Derby!! and it never will be......

LR, the scousers won a game at your expense but it'll do them no good other than a few pisstaking comments.....try losing at home to Man City and then tell us how you feel.....

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Gav, I think the Mancs (United) merely laugh at City now....

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

Gav......there are two views on this....one is the City / United Derby thing and the other is the Real / Barcelona type thing. One set of fans prefer beating City while another set prefer beating the Mickies. I'm a Mickie man. I grew up with Liverpool being top dogs with most kids in all the schools I went to being Liverpool fans. I took a lot of stick and shit from Scousers. It may well have been totally different had I been born and bred in Manchester with family being Lazer Bluse (snigger).

Anyway Gav...it's the losing that is hurting more than who we lost to.

-- Anonymous, December 18, 2000

LR>>> Just imagine how you'll feel when a penalty is awarded against you at OT.........
