can anybody guide to convert *.dat file to asf format Because im using media encoder to multicast the channles encoder will accept asf format .

I've seen a program, which i suspect is Terran Media cleaner or Sonic Solution Vegas Video (don't remember which one), that is capable of taking the *.dat(VCD) and encode it straight to ASF for you. Have you try to check this procedure out at www.vcdhelper.com? More then likely, this site will have the conversion process for you.
