The subject line says it all: Who plays Dr. Burke? (the second-opinion neurosurgeon for Mark) It looks like Chris Sarandon (Humperdink from _the Princess Bride_), but I'm not sure. I missed the credits. Michael

Yes, it's Chris Sarandon. He also played Al Pacino's lover in Dog Day Afternoon.

Wasn't Chris Sarandon the speaking voice of Jack Skellington in "Nightmare Before Christmas"?

Yep he _does_ play Jack Skellington speaking. ("Hello Oogie!")

I thought I recognized him! The Princess Bride, yup. I liked him in this, not the jerk the rest of them were. Hmm, didn't we know, they'd find a way to keep him around for just another 2 years?

Chris Sarandon also played the vampire next door in "Fright Night".

He is also the "ex-husband" of actress Susan Sarandon. After the divorce, Susan elected to keep her married name, despite being with Tim Robbins for so many years. Susan sort of "stumbled" into acting, becasue of Chris. She had no idea what to do with her life. After seeing Chris act, she thought she might give it a shot. Now look at where she's at, and he's at.
