Robson gave his first-team squad the day off today and preparations for what is now a vital match with Bradford City will be stepped up from tomorrow.

I'm no expert but in the current plight shouldn't they be in every day. Even if they are coming in for some stretching and watching videos of past performances.

Giving them a day off then, calling them in the next day to 'step up the training' is crying out for more injuries. They should be finely tuned athletes or near enough, not part time footballers. I can't explain it, can any of you?
