Reports tonight suggest that West Ham have narrowly failed to land Robbie Keane from Inter after a £10 million bid was rejected.
Harry Redknapp said "...although the bid was rejected, I think we were pretty close to a deal."
It sounds as though Inter are looking to flush Keane, and it's just a question now of getting the right price - presumably, the £13 million they were reported to have paid for him.
How big's the kitty, Bobby?

I don't think any of us would argue with his purchase for 13 mill......don't think for a second we could raise that kind of cash though......how about a whip round after the next couple of home games? if we all put 260 quid in (50,000 of us!) then we'll have enough.....

RK has signed on loan for Leeds for the rest of the season.

Presumably, he'll play for them against us on Boxing Day.
