Anyone serious about a home-based business?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

If there is anyone seriously out there looking for a home based business, I can send you free information on how I make between $75-$125 an hour working part-time around the family schedule. Great job for those who put forth effort.

Before responding to this post I would recommend those who have my e- Book read the part on Work-at-Home Opportunities. For those who don't have a copy, you can get one free by sending an e-mail request to scharabo@aol.com. Those who use hotmail.com will have to send a different address since, for some reason, I cannot send it there.

This is just helpful and free information on how I make a great living beyond the sidewalks. And if anyone is interested they can get the free information and check it out for themselves. They can go to: http://www.moneyextreme.com

To find out more free information. Just thought it might help some people succeed on their homesteads.

Margaret:

Nothing personal towards you. I have had an interest in this area for a long time. I have just seen way, way too many of these offers turn out not to be that pot at the end of the rainbow.

I have an MBA degree and a darned good paying job. Believe me, working even full time, I never earned anywhere near what you mentioned.

The title of my free e-book is How to Earn Extra Money in the Country.

Sorry what comes to mind is if it sounds to good to be true it probally is .Sorry ,I will take a look though and if it is on the up and up Thanks

If you wade through the several screens they make you go through, you have to buy their information on how to set up a homebased mail order system.

Sorry but it truly sounds like a scam for you to buy their info. I got spammed by them and do not particularly like it.

SO did everyone on this forum get "spamed" by this post.

I don't think many got taken .We just wanted to post warnings to others .Also I haven't seen this persons name post before unless I missed it .

I have gotten many negative responses from this forum. I am truly sorry you feel the way you do. I am not the type of person to do that, but, I do understand you people don't know me from adam. That is why I asked you to check the information out for yourself. This is Not a scam. But I do understand there are scams out there. I don't mean to get people upset, I was only trying to help out a fellow countrysider. No hard feelings. I'm sorry to upset anyone. You may feel free to check me out. Happy Holidays.

Sorry if we upset you , but allot of us feel like family and look out for each other .If your on the up and up we are sorry to doubt you ,please stay and chat .

-- Patty (fodfarms@slic.com), December 13, 2000.

Yes! You guys did upset me but I truly do understand. I have never been to a chat room or any other thing on the internet. I have been reading Countryside for a few years through my neighbors. I don't know how or why I have gotten involve, but only to help you guys like I said. I will not continue to defend myself. I have given you the opportunity to check out a website for yourself and make your own decision, I will leave it at that. Just know, I will be here for anyone who is serious and will not judge me before checking this out. The only reason I answered this is because after reading and hearing from many of you wanting to make it beyond the sidewalks, and myself, I have made it. I guess I only wanted to be more a part of the bigger family. I will not say it don't hurt hearing all this negative responce before you checked it out. I do not blame anyone because of it. It took me a long time to trust doing this. This is what I thought would happen. I didn't know how I would handle it, but you know, I survived. So I guess, I am a true survivor. Thank you all for that. If any of you ever need support, please feel free to call me on my home line, I don't think I would feel like talking tonight, But you may always reach me at my e-mail or 517-544-2115. I am only human. Thanks for your honest feedback.

Well I downloaded the booklet on this site (it's snowin got nothing better to do). After dozens of pages of testimonials that read like an info-mercial I finally got to the end. They want you to send them $27 for 'more' information. Heck I didn't get any information from what I had just read! This fool isn't gonna be parted from any more money.

Just thought it was interesting that Margaret is making this kind of money but she has been reading Countryside for six years "through a neighbor". I think this is the kind of thing that JD was referring to in his newsletter. It's one thing if you can't afford a subscription and you go to the library or friend to read the magazine. It's quite another when you do have the money, which obviously all of us that are on this forum do because we own computers. I agree with JD. If you enjoy Countryside so much and you can afford a computer, you should show him support by paying for a subscription. Based on the comments on this thread, I don't think this site is as up and up as Margaret would have us believe. If it was, she would just tell us what the idea is for making money at home. She has nothing to lose by telling us. She doesn't have to give the details. I have a feeling that this is just another scam and probably it is hers.

I recieve on the average of 8 of the money at home programs per day in my snailmail. All from having ordered one direct marketing package about 4 years ago. Todays post contained identical offers from five different sources guaranteeing the same "can't miss" mailing lists. True some make money on these programs, however I have learned that when you recieve info filled with testimonials on the "program" but it never says what the program is , BEWARE. I feel the info is always good for folks to form their own opinions, but check them out with the BBB in the city where they are based and also where you recieve the offer before any monetary commitment. Margaret, I'll check out the site you referenced, thanks for sharing the info, glad you have done well with it.

My neighbors rabbits quite prefer this reading material. It lines their pens. :o)

Colleen, I agree completely with you. Perhaps she thought users of this site were a bunch of country bumkins ready to be scammed. Expect she knows better now; MOST are not.
