Discovery Deposition v. Trial Deposition: Any Distinctions?

Robertson v. Nelson 447 SE2d 488 (1994)NC CT of Appeals - There is no distinction between a "discovery" deposiiton and a "for trial" deposition.

Answers

If in Federal Court, check your local Federal Rules to see if a "for trial" deposition can be noticed and taken after discovery has closed. There has been some discussion about this topic.
