Could you perhaps research some mining disasters or something to cheer yourself up pet?

Dougal pet, did I ever tell you how many people were killed and maimed in the Battle of the Somme?

How, amn, I was just pointing out that everything's relative....

But Dougal.....there was always the 5-2 win against Leicester in 1930 that you could have mentioned - hang around long enough from your free drinks and Jonno, Screacher or Clarky will come up with recollections of the game first hand!

Funny you mention it ITK, but I do vaguely recall us getting tanked at Swansea in that game.
McKeag & McGarry's management was a significant factor in me deciding to move to the US around that time - only to then miss the Keegan days and the promotion season (in '81/82?).
No internet in those days either!

I was at the Swansea game - it was cold, damp, and the van windows got kicked in.

Ken, I reckon the only reason you weren't at the Leicester game was because you were "detained" elsewhere. Oh no, sorry, I remember now. You're only a part-time supporter. Probably not your year to go to a game ;-)
