Hundreds of Santas expected at German football
BERLIN (Reuters) - German football team Hertha Berlin is expecting hundreds of fans dressed up in Santa Claus costumes to take advantage of an offer for free entry for a German first division match on Wednesday.

Hertha Berlin spokesman Hans-Georg Felder said he hoped as many as 500 or more would take up the free admission offer by wearing red robes and white beards for the game against Kaiserslautern.

He said 500 fans dressed as Santa Claus came the last time the offer was made a few years ago.

"Everyone's welcome," Felder said. "We're hoping for a big turnout again."
