I just downloaded the new version of TMPGEnc (12b - the one without MPEG2 support....) and have made a couple of vcds and xvcds. The xvcd's are at a video rate of 2376kbps the vcds are white book. I CAN'T SEE ANY DIFFERENCE!!

The vcd quality is superb, no blockiness at all. I capture using Dazzle USB at 3000kbps and add mp3 sound tracks using TMPEnc. - Excellent!
