River, everyone is still using Boks. Good to see ya!

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), December 10, 2000.

Nice to see you too kritt. I went by bok's and no one was there. Or rather someone was there but they didn't say anything.

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 10, 2000.

riversoma,

Do you have any new predictions for the coming months ahead?

-- dinosaur (dinosaur@williams-net.com), December 11, 2000.

Try Poole's Roost .

-- Johnn Littmann (littmannj@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

dinosaur,

I predict that people will go into debt over Christmas. Gas prices will continue to rise and fall based on the arcane whims of the oil cartel. People will die all over the world. People will be born all over the world. Children will go hungry, children will get fat on twinkies, grandparents will sit alone watching TV, granparents will continue to work full time because they can't afford to retire. Lovers will kiss, babies will laugh, great acts of selfless compassion will happen with no media coverage at all.

The democratic and republican parties will continue to squabble over juicy government jobs and fat Federal contracts. Television wil be annoying. The ozone will shrink and global warming will rise. It will rain.

My son will avoid doing his homework, my daughter will be heard to say "Mom, theres nothing to do" at least once a week. My dog will bark at every passing motorcycle.

I am hoping the bulbs I planted last month will bloom this spring but hey - the worlds a funny place. They might not come up.

Hey Riv!

Longtime no speak?

I wondered what happened to ya...

I don't believe this is the real Riversoma. I don't think she had children and I thought she was single.

Uh no... She had children...

We will find out if she replies to my greeting...

Hiya Dog,

Been a busy girl. Met Mr.Wonderful last November (99) and have been together ever since. We just bought a house a couple months ago. falling in love and house hunting and all kept me pretty dang busy. Y2k was definitley one of the best years of my life.

One of my Y2k preps was watercolor supplies and I have been doing lots of that. May turn into a whole new career. Still working through our bean supply.

The latest election excitement made me nostalgic for the old crowd so I thought I would look around to see who I could find. Here I am!

Howr you?

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

hi not@believer

Yes I was single. Things change. Were you hoping for a date?

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

Not so fast. If you're the real Riversoma, tell me what state you're in and what else is new in her life.

-- (not@be.leiver), December 11, 2000.

River: My son will avoid doing his homework, my daughter will be heard to say "Mom, theres nothing to do" at least once a week. My dog will bark at every passing motorcycle.

That is MY house yer talking about there.

-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), December 11, 2000.

not@believer

I have no desire to broadcast the name of the state I live in. Particularly to prove who I am to someone I don't know. If you were someone I knew, you would know I have kids. Anyone who spent anytime reading my posts at TB2K or chatting with me at Bok's, heard all about them.

Is my posting name really filled with such glamour that someone would choose to pretend to be me? I confess to being somewhat flattered although perplexed, by your paranoia. Feel free to contact me by e- mail - It is the same addy I have always had.

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

Riversoma,

Things are the same here... work, work, and more work. I am glad you have found someone... single parenting is for the birds.

I still have 50 gallons of water in my garage, and I think our bean supply is about gone... (Thank God) We still keep a stash of stuff for emergencies, you know, the 'perfect storm' and such...

Just remember, you have a friend in NM, even though we have never really met...

Been dancing lately???

Take care, and I am glad to hear from ya...

(hey no believer... it is the real Riversoma...)

chasin' the cat...

The Dog

-- The Dog (dogdesert@hotmail.com), December 11, 2000.

Dog,

Thanks for validating the verity of my moniker.

Not much dancing lately. Now that I have a boyfriend to snuggle with I don't go out as much. Fortunatly, when we do go out he does like to dance - although we stay off the tables.

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

Dang...How ARE you, River? Of all the folks I met in Boks and on TB, I've missed YOU the most. I don't have time to chat anymore. I'm in school full-time. I've decided that final exams are a lot like cooking. We spend HOURS...even DAYS working towards that final product and in less than an hour it's over and done with.

Good to see you again. That feller has been liftin' your skirt for over a year now. Glad to see ya found someone permanent.

-- Anita (Anita_S3@hotmail.com), December 11, 2000.

Hi Anita!

I was hoping my little thread would flush you out of the woodwork.

School eh? So what are you studying now? Finals are ridiculous. When I was young I found them annoying. Now I know they are just absurd. Good luck, although I know you will do well. You're nobody's dummy.

Yes the - ahem - skirt lifter and I recently celebrated our one year anniversary. I am still blotto in love with him.

I had to quit glassblowing because of health risks. Pleurisy!

I have missed you too. When finals are over drop me an e and we can set up a chat date.

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

Hi River!!!

Glad to see you here! Too bad you quit glass blowing, I am still working on my stained glass windows and doing sculpture. I suppose some day I'll start selling some of my works, but for the time being, I can't part with any of them. BTW, how are your chickens doing?

-- bardou (bardou@balonneyyyyy.com), December 11, 2000.

Hi bardou!

Pleasure to see you here.

Since I had to quit glassblowing I am hoping to get some flat glass work done. The new house needs tile in the kitchen and I was thinking of incorporating some glass in the design.

The chickens (most of them) met a sorry fate. In spite of my best efforts all but 2 of them got eaten by racoons. My ex is partly to blaim for this but there is no point in villifying him for it. He did his best. The two survivors were adopted by a friend of mine who owns enough dogs to keep the racoons intimidated.

I have thought about getting more this spring. (I do love the darn things) but I don't eat eggs anymore and now that every chicken in America is contaminated with Salmonella and will produce Salmonella tainted eggs - it kinda takes some of the fun out of it.

How are all your critters?

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 11, 2000.

My critters are doing good. My Jack Russell-mix is a great hawk dog. I trained her to bark at buzzards and hawks and she keeps them from coming around. She got mauled by a deer a couple years back so she doesn't take after them anymore.

Hope you hang around here, I think Uncle Deedah has a nice home for some of us refugees from the past. It seems like it's a "neutral," place to share. I hope you and your children are doing well.

-- Bardou (bardou@balonneyyy.com), December 12, 2000.

Riversoma--

Welcome back. Hope you hang around. How did you choose your handle? (do you have a body like a river?)

-- Lars (lars@indy.net), December 12, 2000.

Howdy River,welcome to the board.

I remember your posts from the old days when I was a lowly lurker @ TB1,times they sure have changed.Have fun.

-- capnfun (capnfun1@excite.com), December 12, 2000.

Hey River, I guess you haven't worn out your man yet ;-)

Nice to see you, and Bardou too! Golly, it's old home week around here. Y'all won't see much of me for a while, I'm real busy at work, and there is some sort of holiday coming up. We will be entertaing a lot so Mrs D is cracking the whip on me, and when she says jump I ask "How high"?

-- Uncle Deedah (unkeed@yahoo.com), December 12, 2000.

Hi River,

Even though -- as I recall -- we only connected once or twice at Bok's, (I can't recall a forum conversation with ya) I'm glad you're here. Hope you can stick around -- it's a blast.

-- eve (eve_rebekah@yahoo.com), December 12, 2000.

Welcome back, Bardou.

-- eve (eve_rebekah@yahoo.com), December 12, 2000.

What pure bullshit. These two bimbos have been around (at least bimbo bardou has) for the last year under assumed names. They're only coming out now because they want to discuss their extremist political leanings. If Unk were honest, he would tell everyone that bardou has been around for a LONG time and has the keys to this joint. You people make me puke.

-- (Not@be.liever), December 12, 2000.

You might notice that Unk didn't welcome bardou back in this thread even though she posted before him. He didn't welcome her back because he has known all along that she's here. Isn't that right unk? You two have hung out together in boks discussing Libertarian crap for the last year and she was the best replacement for kritter--or in addition to kritter. You guys are so phoney I'll bet you are related to Hillary.

-- (Not@be.liever), December 12, 2000.

Jesus, I'm not making myself clear here. Unk ACTS like he doesn't know bardou has been here all along. What is the point anyway? Most of you are comfortable with liars anyway.

-- (Not@be.liever), December 12, 2000.

hey......((((((((((((((((((BARDOU)))))))))))))))))))0

sup my girl?

-- sumer (shh@aol.con), December 12, 2000.

This is like old home week for retards. *sigh*

-- (Not@be.liever), December 12, 2000.

Not@believer,

Jealousy does not become you. It is obvious you are green with envy by the three posts in a row. I believe the correct line is:

Get a life.

Not to mention a real name, and post only under that handle...

(snicker)

snarlin' at an idiot...

The Dog

-- The Dog (dogdesert@hotmail.com), December 12, 2000.

hiya Lars!

I picked my name because of its tantric meanings (Divine nectar among other things) and because no one else on AOHell had it yet. But yes I suppose you could say it means I have a body like a river although it doesn't run as fast as it used to.

Howr are things going with you? I think of you often.

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 12, 2000.

Unk!

Nice digs you've got around here. I feel right at home.

Haven't wore out the new man yet but I keep working on it. Practice practice practice. Happy Holidays!

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 12, 2000.

Hi Eve Yes I do remember you. Nice to see you here.

Cap-n-fun Nice to meet you.

Not@believer, Thanks for keeping my thread alive with all your non-sequiter posts. You are keeping it right at the top of "New Answers" where all my friends can see it and respond. Happy Holidays!

-- riversoma (riversoma@aol.com), December 12, 2000.

River just posted three times does that somehow make her "jealous"? Hell no I'm not jealous of you losers. Like I said, this is old home week for losers and retards.

You are welcome, River. It gives everyone an opportunity to see how well you cover up your real emotions and put on a big fake smile with your "dog teeth" showing while posting Happy Holidays! Like I said- PUKE!

-- (Not@be.liever), December 12, 2000.

-- (Not@be.liever): I'm ROTFLMAO. Since you get your jollies from making stupid remarks and accusations, I can tell you with a straight face and with a smirk (a G.W. Bush smirk), that you are off your ass!

Eve: Thanks for the welcome.

Uncle Deedah: Glad you got some sense and started this site.

Hi Sumer!!!
