The thing is though, there are only nine points seperating 3rd place and 15th place in the league. Any 4 teams out of 12 could get into europe this season. Unless we get two or three players in we won't be one of them.

Given the absolute sh*te we've been serving up for weeks and weeks now it amazes me that people still think we are in with a shout of qualifying for Europe.

As a reknowned pessimist, after Saturday's ferrago I feel we are so weak that I'd be delighted just to scrape together enough points to stay in the PL.
