Now We Don't Know Who Won The Popular Vote

As of yesterday Gore had won the popular vote and Bush had won the state of Florida. Now we don't know who won either. By using the same standard in Florida for the entire U.S. vote, we would need to recount the over 2,000,000 undercounted votes. This gives much room for Bush to take over Gore. We will ever know who won the popular vote?

Confused--

I agree. All this BS of vote-counts is just strategic maneuvering (by both sides). It's too bad that there is not an accepted procedure, a constitutional procedure, for dealing with a tie. Normally, the EC would cover that situation but not this time. So we are reduced to the phoney efforts of both sides to find enough votes to win the FL electors.
