recently i just burnt a vcd movie 2 a gold cdr(kodak ds), i tested it o stand alone vcd player. but the player indicate no disc. also another problem is that when u search time or go to different length time of the movie (on gold cdr), it freeze the picture(from where u time search) plus jiltering sound (on that search time onwards). on the other hand , silver plus cdr (kodak intimaguard) wont have this kind of problem. it work perfectly.
