Best CD-RW for Panasonic DVD A120

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have a Panasonic DVD-A120 and I am having a tough time making VCD's that it can read. I know that CD-RW's are the only thing it can read (not CD-R's), and I had been told that Memorex worked great. But when I insert the disc in the player, it just says 'NO PLAY'. I know the disc is fine because it works on a friends Pioneer player. If anyone can tell me what brands of CD-RW's work with the A120, I would be eternally greatful. Thanks

So far I have found that Verbatim datalifeplus CD-RW is the only one which plays in Panasonic. Hope this helps.

It's a US player. I tried the Verbatim CD-RW and it recognized the disc for a few minutes, but then I got the same 'NO PLAY' message. After that, I couldn't get the player to recognize the disc at all.

I have found only Memorex CD-RW to work but not all the time. I have burned 5 of them using CD Stomper's ClickNBurn and 3 of the 5 worked. The other 2 gave NO PLAY.
