Robson is hoping that Blackburn's Egil Ostenstad will join on loan and lead the attack againt the Gunners with Carl Cort, Kevin Gallacher and Alan Shearer ruled out through injury. If he is unable to land Ostenstad then he is likely to start with Lomano Lua-Lua and possibly Folowashola Ameobi up front. Ostenstad joined Blackburn from Southampton, he is a full international with Norway, strong in the air and as a great turn of speed. He is out of favour at Blackburn and Souness is likely to let him go.

Well, not the best striker in the world, but not the worst either. He used to be pretty good, i'm not sure where he stands now.

He can't get into the Blackburn team, We don't need him I would rather he tried our youngsters Lomano LuaLua and Ameobi.

Got a spare hammock, Pete?

Bliddy ell Pete, what's up with the Bahamas that it takes something like us signing a plank to send you back ? Thinking about it, if we sign enough planks, we can board up our goal, then watch us motor. :-)

Can't see anything wrong in signing him ,it's only a loan deal if he's shit we can tell him to fffffoffff. If he gets back to some decent form he will at least be a striker who is ready to start shooting at goal.

I always saw him as a threat playing against us, so I'd be happy to see him make an effort for the Lads.

Needs must in times of crisis.
