The buggers, I hadn't realised they'd changed the points sytem whilst I've been in Japan. 9 points from 2 games hey?

Well, here's to Santa giving you 6 points and nine pints, LR.
Have a great Xmas you 'ol sh*t-stirrer.

I'll take 6 points and nine pints .....cheers Smiler :-)

I'll echo Clarky's sediments LR. If I was you, I'd hang onto that owld scrote who let the ball bounce off his heel for Scholesy's goal last night. Spawny git. The defender and the keeper left Scoles with eff all to do as well. :-))

Hahahaha...that's a joke...isn't it PB? That was a class goal from a class act...supported by class fans..even though I wasn't there :-)
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
The Man U fans started off by singing Blaydon Races, WHY?
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Hey LRDo you want my spare ticket for the BIG game?
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Why Rik...no worthy Geordies to give it to?Glad to hear that you watched the game....class weren't we? (1st half) :-)
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Your lot certainly were a class apart LR, but I'll tell you what - it was like watching paint dry for the uncommitted. Great first goal mind.I was so unenthusiastic about the game that I turned out to watch the Toon Reserves play Whitley Bay in the Northumberland Senior Cup on a freezing cold, but clear night - only to find it had been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch!!!!!!
So, I ended up having no choice but to snooze through the CL game.

LR howay man you made it look hard against the part timers, Scholes I have allways said is a class act and sherri's showing what an old sod can do.We allways play well against ManU (Charity shield not withstanding) so I reckon on a 2-2 draw.

Howway LR, there's no way I'm going to admit your lot have any players, let alone one of your pensioners, who're capable of something that, if everybody didn't know better, looked world class. :-))

The thought of just under 3000 Mancs at SJP is actually almost as nauseating as having 3000 Makems there. Ooh, we'll have to watch out for Salford Lass's match report again.
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Dougal ... I wonder what Salford lasses report from the SOL was like? She and her son and heir, would have been confronted by real neandathals down there.
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Hey LR,You offer someone an olive branch , an friendly Xmas peace offering, and this is the reply you get?
-- Anonymous, December 07, 2000
Rik, Salford lass doesn't report on that game although her mate Red Kelly's report is good on the silence at the SOL http://mufc.simplenet.com/miva/matchreports.mv?2000112You can buy Salford Lass's book of match reports if you wish:A Seat in the Crowd by Paul Windridge & Linda Harvey 220 pages; perfect bound; catalogue #00-0047; ISBN 1-55212-383-9; CDN$27.31 (US$17.75)
A Seat in the Crowd is about travelling the length and breadth of England and Europe to watch Manchester United. It is about the lifelong journey of two supporters (with the help of one or two friends along the way) who have been following their club for over 40 years each.
