Chopra dances through a tangled French defence and puts the ball past Bonnefoi, the French 'keeper, to win the match 1-0 for the England U17s!

Nice! Hope he can do that for us in the furure too. He's so talented that he just can't be a flop. He'll be good.

Hell be a winner just like everyone from my school, Chopra , Shearer, Rob Elliot , Sting.

I gather it was a dour affair with Chopra being the only difference in the sides.

He'll soon be turning professional too. He's 17 in 2 weeks, and reckons he's signing a 3 year contract with us.

Saw the Cubs and Brownies on another pitch - must have missed the Scouts. It wasn't the 13th Whitley was it?

This lad seems to have scored consistently for years now. I hope the club have their wits about them and don't lose him to another club.

Wouldn't it be just fantastic to have another young 'un come all the way through for us, and go on to play for England - a la Gazza, who was the last?

I can't wait for a backline including Hughes and both Caldwells, Clarky... not too far of now and all from our much-maligned youth policy. The Caldwell freres show every sign of making the Neville sisters look second rate.

There's a good article in the Journal today about Hughes and how he is battling the pain to play against Arsenal.Bobby has said that Hughes is a couple of yards quicker in his brain than his opponents are with their feet and compares him to Rio Ferdinand, although Hughes is a couple of years younger than Rio.
