Although I know that there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic animal, there is a breed of cat that rates very low in causing allergic reactions. These kind are called Siberian cats. I have also read that the only difference between Siberians and Maine Coons are the sizes and shapes of their bodies. Is this true? If so, wouldn't Maine Coon cats have a low incidence in causing allergic reactions as well as Siberian cats?
