Ullathorne was with us for a couple of months for us to have a look at him and to get his fitness back. He has now left to join Sheff Utd.

Bernard's transfer has been fraught with problems. When we signed him, his old club Lyon got pissed off because we signed one of their most promising youngsters despite them not offering him a new deal. So they withheld wis registration, a decision which was outlawed in a recent court case.

However, I don't know if they are challenging that ruling because I haven't heard that he has started playing for the reserves.

The impression I got about Bernard was the (selling)club were looking for a fee for him and until that was sorted he wasn't getting involved, but I cannot remember how I arrived at this. Going ga ga
