My husband and I purchased a silver/white female Maine Coon kitten 11/4/00 from what I assumed was a "breeder" in Bay Shore, NY. I've been advised since that her sire was not supposed to have been bred at all. I did receive papers when I purchased her indicating her sire and dams pedigree, but am now unsure, since I've been told that papers are only sent after proof of spaying is provided. We have an appointment scheuled already for spaying and want to assure all concerned that we are more than willing to send proof to breeder of sire and dam. Please advise. Thank you.
