REST, Alan!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Just perusing the Ronnie, and Al was still talking about being fit for Arsenal this weekend. He's since been told he'll be having an exploratory op tomorrow. Now he's insisting he'll be ok for Bradford next week.

If only we could share his attitude out amongst certain other players on our books!

And this man wants to be our next manager? Despite the medical evidence against him, he still wants to continue playing. Admirable qualities in a player (perhaps) but not in someone with a view to future management. There are times when you just have to sit it out in fear of doing far worse damage if you don't. Now is the time, Al.

Well, who knows what this knee op will show up? Hope it's not a fecking cruciate (he played on his last one for ages before realising he'd done it).
