Well I think the thing that affected him was the loss of his sweet Virginia he practically put his life on hold for her it was so amazing to love someone to do all that stuff for her thats what I call true love!!

my opinion was the immense amount of stress that he endured. it all finally caught up to him, he could press it down no more, not with his drugs or alchohol. it was most likely the combination of the three. but that is merely my opinion.
