Why does my MC always knead the place she wants to lie down on? She does it to me if she wants to sleep on my lap. It also kind of looks like she is trying to lay down her scent with her bottom. Do they do that? Please Help!

It does that so if sofetns up the spot he or she lays on. My cats do it all the time
