Here in So.Cal. USA we've just recorded our 3rd out of the last 25 years with no measurable rain in November. Just coming off of two nearly bone dry La Ninas with the promise of a normal season. Ain't happening.

And here in New Zealand, with only 17 days to go to the longest day of the year, we still have snow on some of the lower mountains.

At present the snow line is around 6000' which is very low for this time of year.
