Looking for Navy Sea bee's merchandise for old Sea Bee with cancer.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone know where I can buy Navy Sea Bee merchandise? Dad was stationed on Iwo Jima (SP?) in WWII and constantly thinks about those days. I found a 50th anniversary hat and t-shirt back in 1995, but he's about wore them out. Dad was diagnosed with cancer recently and I would like to get him something Sea Bee related. This is so importat to him that he already had a gravestone made with "Navy Sea Bee" on it. Thanks in advance.

Debra, Sorry that your father is facing this. Something you could do is do a net search of "sea bee" and construction battalion. Having seen articles in the news about the battalion, I would think they have websites. Good luck, you'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Debra i,d think any good t shirt place could make you both a shirt and cap esp. if you have the old ones for patterns..Bob in s.e.ks.

Try stopping by a Navy exchange at any base. Most active bases also have a uniform store. If you tell them what you want, they'll order it. You can also try searching the web for "navy exchange".

Try searching on eBay under SeaBee or variations. They also have a Wanted Board where you can leave a request to list such items.
