Not up to much tonight, maybe a few down the local.

Saturday, probably web-cast bound for the Villa match, oot on the town Saturday night, whatever!

Sunday, hopefully a game of golf.

Sit around listlessly until the match comes on Metro, make a point of announcing several times to wife and baby that we will lose pathetically or at best take part in a soulless 0-0 which gets mocked on MotD. After we lose I will still stomp around like a small child and sulk all weekend. Probably try to start an argument on here about how Gullit made better substitutions than Bobby because he was taller or some such crap. Can start sucking my teeth and worrying about how we are only 3 crap results off the relegation zone and look forward to another stinker at Highbury. Buy a length of rope on Sunday and start testing some of the rafters for strength. They just aren't worth it.

Softie, Softie, get a grip. You're the man of steel all we wimps rely on entirely for keeping our spirits high ( or at least marginally- less-down-ish, in my case) when there no longer seems to be any point in going on.

If you succumb, what'll we do ?

On the other hand, get a grip, put the rope in it and I'll see you on the winking-eye bridge about five the morrer, and we'll gan harfies on the rope.

Kenny,

The rain is not helping my game any! I was up the driving range the other night and the rain was actually being blown under the canopy, which I thought was a bit off.

Temporary greens are also a pain in the butt as well.

Shouldn't that be a pain in the putt DeB?

Pah! Saturday golf on a well drained course. Chalk downland.... nee probs.

Just bought my nipper his Xmas pressy. A fine electric guitar. I shouldn't be allowed in music shops. I had planned to get him a cheap job 'cos he'll be carting it to and from school. Trouble is ... I love guitars and fell in love witha natural wood Pacifica. Georgeous and as good as my Strat. At £169 it's a snip. My missus dragged me out when I started looking at the bass guitars.... Anyho... I'll be playing his pressy at the w/end every time he leaves the house :-))

Saturday pm I'll be avoiding all the radio/tv/etc... I can't stand another tense couple of hours. Actually the tension will be the same but I'll take the one big hit on the depression at ten to 5 instead of moping from 3:15 onwards.

Sunday... maybe golf again... nowt planned

Hmm...this weekend...dunno yet. Will be listening to the webcast tomorrow. I'm a glutton for punishment and have a stubborn optimistic streak that knows we have to win again sometime. ;-)

Beyond that it depends on how my friend is recovering from the hospital tests she underwent yesterday. We had planned on hopping in the car and exploring the area since we're both new round here. And it's going to be too cold to do much else.

Geordie, you are not an orphan there!

The gusette plays drums in one band and sings in another. She needed a new microphone so I went with her to the shop.

It cost me 150 quid just for the mike! No lead or owt just the bliddy mike!!
