the fall of the house of usher is about a man (usher) who really doesn't have any friends except for this one guy. well, usher gets sick and needs his friend to come stay with him, while he's at the house his twin sister who was buried alive in their basement gets out and while he was leaving(the friend)the house splits in half. it is suposed to symbolize something about their realationship. now read the story again and you'll get it.
