Continued Problems At Laguardia Prompts Action By FAA (New York-WABC, November 29, 2000) _ Laguardia Airport is quickly earning the reputation as the worst airport in the nation for delays and passenger problems. Another recent incident seems to enforce that reputation. Passengers were stuck on an airplane for more than three hours, because there was not an available gate. The plane landed at Laguardia Monday night, and then the holding pattern. It just sat on the tarmac for hours, despite a program to avoid this very problem.
