Well all teams in the league are allocated tickets to watch aren't they? ;-)))

Where is it? Overlooking Copacobana (sp) beach?

Not NEARLY as confident as 100% of the Geordies on here a couple of years ago...between April and May :-)

I LOVED it

You shouldn't even be in the competition this year. Should have done all the qualifying rounds at least. In fact I think you are cheating with the approval of the FA.

LR

Why didn't you beat the hakkems? I see Yorke decided to give them as good as he got, maybe we should have tried that!

Douggie..tell me you are being serious and I'll accept thge challenge. Otherwise I'll teat that with the....blah blah blah :-)

DB..why didn't we win?...dunno

CUT AND PASTE

Whassamatter lil' Sunderland....... the horrible Huge Nasty ManYew plc rolls into town with it's appalling resources....and it's money....it's greed and it's terrifying group or teenagers....

And then the bastards proceed to give your full premiership side a bloody good lesson in football on your own patch with 45000 of your own sitting in stunned silence.....hehe....

And then even when they have to play with only 10 kids for 45 minutes they still make you look shite.....and hit your woodwork twice.......better bring on the ref as sub to save your arse with his penalty decisions....

What comedy...... to see and hear 45,000 ABU's whistling for the end....biting their nails....and cheering every long upfield hoof to clear their lines......against a bunch of kids and a ageing Dutch keeper......

Oh diddums.....on any degree of decent refereeing United's third team would have been the first side to win at Sunderland this season.....hehe....

Oh yes....two of our side hadn't even got a Squad number this morning.....hehe....

And what about some of them lads.......Chadwick....Healy.....Webber....O'Shea....(yep he's 19 years old and had Phililips in his pocket most of the game!)....

The United Youth System - on the rocks.

What a larf.

And the best thing about it? Well it makes your route to your only chance of any silverware more difficult...cos you're gonna struggle more against a Sunderland side who think they can win it than you would against our kids with your first team....hehe

Thing is LR... at the stage when we would have met your lot you'd have been playing the full team. Yorke was unlucky... it should have been a yellow card as he only hit one of the guy's knees!

The ref was a joke.

THat fawning drivel of a commentary on Radio 5 Live was an absolute disgrace. I think that the Class A drugs handed round when they heard that they are keeping the EPL rights had a lot to answer for.

Some obscene references to how SOS was "packed to the rafters as always" Hmmmmmmm. So the pathetic turnout when it was only a fiver to get in and free for kids didn't stick around long in the memories...after all, it was over a week ago. Oh no, this time they claimed that there were 47,000 - didn't look like it on the telly - and they had all paid a whole tenner for adults and a quid for kids. Again, a real team pulled in 40,000+ for 20quid a throw against Bradford City for Gawdsakes. Typical miserable small-club attitude: act like they won the World Cup when they beat their neighbours and only turn up to watch the League Champions. Bet they get less than 30,000 against Crystal Palace and it'll be back to a fiver again.

The last 10 minutes were filled with garbage about: "Don't let anyway tell you that [Manchester] United didn't take this game seriously..." Hmmmm. A quick gander at the team sheet suggests that the commentator needs to get his head out of his arse and merely pay tribute to the fact that even Man Utd's reserve side show a will to win. Abysmal.

I was holding out great hope for the Manc youth policy drying up and bringing them to where they, by rights, should be@ on their knees. But it apparently isn't going to happen.

Where should we be by rights Douggie ? :-)

-- Anonymous, November 29, 2000

And Douggie..U really think we should have played in the qualifying rounds? Had the FA tried that I'd expect..and demand that United withdraw again.

LR, was being a bit chippy - haven't given your FACup attendances any real thought at all...
