The Overseas Limited

I have been passed an article regarding the history of railways in Florida Keys. Can anyone help with details or photographs of the "Overseas Limited" Pullman which ran From Jacksonville to West Key? Any information or pointers to where I can find information would be very helpful. This information is for possible use in the monthly newsletter I edit for the Thames Valley Area Group of the Mid Hants Railway (The Watercress Line) in England.

Information on the Florida East Coast Extension to Key west is available in several sources, some of which unfortunately are out of print. The best is Seth Bramson's history of the Florida East Coast Railway "Speedliners to the Sunshine State". Other sources include a recent publication entitled "Where Rails Meet the Sea". Other sources include biographies of Henry M. Flagler. You may also try the library in Key West-they may have copies of some brochures the State of Florida published in the 1960's covering the history of the extension.

As for photographs, try the Florida State Archives, which may be found on the web.
