bit of perhaps useless information:

I have mainly used Kodak Silvers for VCD work and just this weekend I bought another batch and found they were a mixture of Gold & Silver, new/better said the salesperson.

I burn a SVCD in my CRX145E Sony burner and set 6x - to my surprise the burner changed the speed to 4x "because of the media type."

When I read the fine print there was no mention of capable speed.

Interesting - some you win some .......!
