Escambia County includes 36 illegal overseas ballots for Bush

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

In another, completely odious election decision, Escambia county included 36 ballots that did not have the signature of a witness. How can we ever be sure that the person submitting the ballot actually signed it? And even if the signature matched that on file, why are we accepting ballots that do not meet the strictest guidelines of Florida law and rejecting ballots in other counties that were legally cast?

This whole thing in Florida reeks to the high heaven. Bush was so smug the night of the election that Florida was in his bag that one can only conclude that the fix was in. Escambia and Nassau have proven, along with Seminole, that this fix was orchestrated. I, for one, should Gore not take the presidency, will become obsessively politically active and fight every Bush measure every inch of the way. THis is not America, when Bush uses third world tactics to try and usurp power.

Someone, please, anyone, explain to me how this can be justified. Thanks.

That's your best shot, aint? Throw up a silly illustration instead of addressing the consitutional issues. A person like you, who in the past has cried out that individual rights are being trampled, is perfectly okay with voters rights being trampled if it favors your political aims. Pathetic.
