PTOC has had a Ukranian mapper, Fema (sp?) in town since the US Champs working on some maps. I think Fema's first project was an update to the Knob Noster map. Yesterday, Mike Shifman told me that Fema had also been working on Weston Bend State Park. He has about a day of work left to complete the park.

I suspect that PTOC is planning to use both of these maps for an up-coming A meet. One possibility is that PTOC will host a US Long-O champs at Knob Noster and a single day event (maybe even a Short O' champs?) at Weston Bend.

I almost forgot...Mike also said that Fema was going to work on a park orienteering map (I believe it was a city park in Lenexa).
