Israel WireUnemployment reaches unprecedented numbers
(IsraelWire-11/24) According to Central Bureau of Statistics numbers released on Thursday, the number of unemployed Israelis in the third quarter of 2000 has reached nine percent, representing 240,000 Israelis.
Since the start of the Barak administration in July 1999, unemployment has risen 4.2 percent, representing 10,000 persons.
