Here's what Ronnie says:

Toon fans warned on cars

FANS parking near St James's Park could have their cars towed away as police today vowed to adopt a new get-tough policy.

Supporters have been warned that any vehicle causing difficulties in the Arthur's Hill area of Newcastle will now be hauled away in a bid to crack down on problem parking.

Police have issued the statement ahead of Sunday's clash with Liverpool, saying that motorists could face a bill of up to £200 to get their cars back.

During last Saturday's derby clash with Sunderland, six cars were towed away under the new zero tolerance scheme.

It follows a series of complaints by residents and the fire brigade, which has suffered difficulties in getting to emergencies because of badly parked cars.

Crikey - I hope my lad doesn't go near Arthur's Hill. Not only has he got my ticket (Dougal willing - ha ha) but he's also got my car. Arrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Actually, in my experience of parking up there, it's the bliddy urchins Plod should be keeping an eye on, not law-abiding citizens like us.

Bah! Nurse, I need a drink. And make it a stiff one.
